Student Growth
TTC TV

Introduction

Tsung Tsin TV is a student-led campus media platform designed to provide students with hands-on experience in video production. The station's core project is the live morning assembly broadcast held on Day 3 of each school cycle, delivering campus information in a more dynamic and engaging manner. Students are personally involved in every stage of the process, from interviewing and scriptwriting to filming and behind-the-scenes production. Through the challenging experience of live broadcasting, we aim to specifically train students in their filming techniques, communication, collaboration, and adaptability, nurturing a new generation of creative and responsible media professionals.

Operations

As the new school year begins, our TV station family welcomes a new cohort of members. The leaders organize a welcome gathering where, beyond introducing our operational model, they pass on our team's vision. This helps each new member    understand their role, enabling them to integrate quickly and prepare for the year's challenges together.

This is the control center for our morning assembly broadcast. In this shot, our leader is guiding the team inside the recording studio, ensuring every part of the live session is executed flawlessly.

The control room is the heart of every live broadcast. Here, the student leader and the technical team work in concert, responsible for seamlessly switching between various feeds, such as the MC's camera and pre-recorded videos. Their timing must be impeccable to ensure the entire production runs smoothly.

Open Day

The entire TV station team mobilizes on Open Day. We not only design fun games but also open up our studio, allowing primary school students to get hands-on with professional equipment under our guidance, feeling the unique charm of teamwork and media creation through practice

From the venue setup to the event details, our TV station members are hands-on with everything. This vibrant Instagram photo wall, for instance, was handled entirely by our student leaders, from the initial sketch to the final painting. It was created to be a unique welcome sign, allowing all our visitors to feel our creativity and passion.

To reach a wider audience, our TV station members take the initiative on Open Day. They move through every corner of the campus, handing out flyers and passionately inviting parents and fellow students to our booth to play games, win souvenirs, and strike a pose at our photo wall.

The "T2tuber" video creation contest is the creative focal point of the term's end. This competition encourages students to use the language of film to tell compelling stories. All finalist short films are publicly screened and judged by a real-time vote from the entire school audience. The championship title, decided instantly before an eager crowd, along with bountiful rewards, serves as the greatest affirmation for our young creators.

Intra-School Micro Film Competition:

External competitions

We actively lead our students beyond the campus to participate in external competitions, allowing them to exchange skills with talented peers from other schools and frequently earning accolades. However, we cherish the learning opportunities from these competitions even more. Our students come to understand that while victory is valuable, the process of giving their all and the new filming techniques and creative storytelling learned from opponents are the true keys to their continuous growth.
