Health Education
Our school has been actively engaged in the Hong Kong Healthy Schools Award Scheme since 2003 and was honored with Gold Awards in both 2004 and 2014 in recognition of our outstanding achievements in the field of health promotion.
Since 2019, our school has also participated in the Department of Health's "Whole School Health Programme". Through strong interdepartmental collaboration, we have continuously enhanced our campus health promotion strategies, earning Outstanding Healthy School Awards over the years. These efforts reflect the school's commitment to creating a learning, living, and working environment that fosters the holistic development of physical and mental well-being for all staff and students.
Health Education Centre
The Health Education Centre serves as a multifunctional space for learning and engagement, open during lunchtime to provide wellness activities for staff, parents, and students. The programs offered include midday health seminars, vaccination services, parent-child healthy cooking workshops, and personal health screenings. Through these activities, the Centre plays a vital role in nurturing a wellness-oriented campus culture.
Health Ambassador Programme
To enrich student learning and strengthen health education, we provide a wide range of health-related courses and experiences. Student Health Ambassadors participate in organizing diverse health initiatives both on and off campus-such as vaccination promotion, Health Week, and "Joyful Fruit Day" - to encourage personal responsibility for well-being and deepen awareness among their peers. These activities also foster full engagement from teachers, students, and parents in building a school culture that values character, excellence, and spiritual growth.
The Health Education Centre also serves as a hub for outreach and engagement involving teachers, students, and parents. Additionally, the garden of Eden provides a cross-disciplinary learning space and is open to visits from kindergartens and primary schools. By utilizing both internal and external resources, these facilities help extend health education beyond the campus and strengthen community-wide awareness.
